To get the best out of cake smash photoshoots and make them a unique experience book before 2-3 weeks of your baby’s first birthday. Doing so will allow enough time to get your amazing photos for first birthday party invitations or to mark this birthday milestone.
Session take place in my Home Studio in Thetford, Norfolk.
The shoot takes around 1 hour. Photo session includes a custom made birthday cake (in Package2), decorations, banners and balloons. I also provide some outfits for the little one but feel free to bring your own as additional outfit is always welcome. We typically have time to go through 1-2 outfit changes, depending on the mood of our little model.
We start with mini photoshoot to make beautiful portraits of your little one, also we can include few family shots (if requested). We then move on to the cake smash part, where baby will have a chance to play with the birthday cake. This part is usually very messy and is naturally followed by a bath where your little one can splash the cake away in warm bubbly water.

When is the best time to book Cake Smash Photoshoot?
- I recommend to book your photoshoot 3 weeks before the birthday. It will allow me to edit your photos on time.
Can I bring my own cake?
- Yes, absolutely. Package 1 is doesn’t include a cake. We can also replace a cake with donuts or anything else you will wish for.
Do you have an outfits available?
- Yes I have some outfits available to use on your session. Just send me a message and I will show you what I have.
Can we have some family pictures done?
- Yes few family photos can be done before we start or on the end of the session.
